The ECF Go Green Cinema Documentary Screening Programme (環保基金 – 綠號院線)took place from February to November 2019.
In this programme, CNEX held mobile screenings across the 18 districts in Hong Kong, collaborated with local environmental groups , NGOs, and green facilities. We have selected Documentary films related to the theme of plastic waste, water pollution in the ocean, global warming, food safety and diversity, and suitable to the audiences of all ages. We hope to encourage audiences to learn more about environmental issues. Through the post screening sharing section, we hoped to build up recycling and waste reduction habits in their daily life.
CNEX collaborated with non-profit community organizations and environmental protection organizations in 18 districts of Hong Kong. At the end of the programme, we built a google map covering the service location of our collaborating partners, so as to let the audience use and share the map for easier recycling.
From February to September 2019, we have completed a total of 36 screening events.
