The ECF Green Doc Podcast & Screening Programme (環保基金：紀「綠」播客) was sponsored by the Environment and Conservation Fund (ECF) and The Environmental Campaign Committee.
This program took place from February 2022 to May 2023, consist of 3 stages of programme and events :
1 . Collecting public’s thoughts and reflections about engaging into environmental protection activities through the online platforms.
2.Organizing Documentary screenings related to the topic of environment protection, recycling and human activities. CNEX cooperated with local community centres, recycling stations, higher education institutes and secondary schools, to organize total 10 screening events.
3. Teaching a group of College students to produce 5 episode of Sound Documentaries related to the theme of environmental protection activities in their own community.
These students attended training courses by Mr. Wong Siu-pong, a documentary film-maker based in Hong Kong, and learnt how to produce sound documentaries. They have to find out the people whom worked very hard for environment protection. Moreover, they have to do research and interview with their main characters.
They produced 5 sound documentaries related to the topic of :
- A young farmer living in the New Territories
- Vegetarian eating habit
- A group of volunteers in the Repair Café Hong Kong
- A non-profit community sharing station in Hong Kong
- A cleaning worker’s daily work and her situation
