In 2006, CNEX was established with the mission to produce “Ten films a year, a hundred films in ten years,” documenting Chinese society’s evolution.

Starting with the theme “Money,” we have engaged independent Chinese documentarians. Our 2015 theme is “Commitment and Responsibility.”

Over the past decade, Chinese society has pursued wealth, faced crises, and rebuilt homes. We’ve experienced the search for safety and trust, and the blending of virtual and real life.

Individuals need well-being; families require resilience; businesses need sustainable development.
