Dissolution & Restoration of Love : CNEX Documentary Screening Tour (「愛去愛來」主題紀錄片巡展) was from February 2016 to January 2017.
This is an era of vanishing, but it is also, hopefully, an era of rebirth.
The constancy of love, promise, chastity, no regret;
Intimate attachment, care, trust, cherish;
The dedication of justice, selflessness, compassion and care;
The pursuit of life, the origin, the return, the adventure;
Ancient craftsmanship, touch, simplicity, heritage;All of these are the spirit of love and the ability to love. We are willing to call the heart and ability that the rich cannot be lustful, the poor cannot be moved, and the mighty cannot be subjugated, love; no matter whether it is big love or small love. Big love: nation, country, culture; small love: self, affection, life.
Love may disappear because of capital, because of power, because of the dispersion of people’s hearts, because of the bad environment, and because of the changes of the times. However, in order to survive, to live, to live the true nature of life and to have hope, where love has fallen, there is the power to rise again.
The rebirth of love is not for taking over, but rather for giving.
This support and rising up is not for nostalgia or reminiscence of the lost golden age, nor is it a replication, inheritance or restoration. If new values and attitudes cannot be given, and a landscape and roadmap towards the next generation cannot be given, then love becomes a hindrance and a fetter.
The past is gone, the future can be traced. At this moment, we call for the rebirth of love.
It is the power of love that allows us to see the many twists and turns of emotions in the midst of sorrows and joys;
It is the power of love that allows us to learn to cherish, to fight, and to let go;
It is the power of love that allows us to live passionately, to yearn for justice, and to reach the other side where it is more worthwhile to breathe;
Let us have the courage to define our own happiness and explore the ultimate pursuit of life;
It also allows us to continuously inject living water into our culture based on our true feelings;Just as the moon waxes and wanes, and the sea ebbs and flows, love can leave and love can come back. In the changing environment of the times, we have to face up to the disappearance of love, but we must also recognize the rebirth of love. The face of love that comes back to us may seem like a lifetime ago, familiar yet unfamiliar at the same time.
The Dissolution & Restoration of Love documentary screening event presented a selection of 30 documentaries for 40 times screening events and post-screening talks from February 2016 to January 2017, depicting the trajectory of precious spiritual assets from disappearance to rebirth through images and dialogues.
These documentary films lead us to face up to the nature of love, and weave a web of faith and dignity in the midst of the present moment of dramatic transformation, and in the midst of the turbulence of the human heart.
