\u201cThe Journey of Sinje: Movie Watching and Post-Screening Sharing\u201d was successfully held on 15 March at Sir Run Run Shaw Hall, CUHK. Over 300 participants gained insight into the life of the renowned actress Ms. Lee Sinje, exploring her transformation between different identities out of the spotlight.<\/span><\/div>\n

In the following sharing session, Ms. Lee, alongside Ven. Changlin, the spiritual mentor of CUHK Run Run Shaw College , utilized personal experiences and vivid examples to convey the importance of inner reflection. They further encouraged participants to discover a sense of inner peace.<\/span><\/div>\n

The activity is funded by The D.H. Chen Foundation and co-organised by the College, The Office of the Arts Administrator, CUHK and Pause & Breathe.<\/span><\/div>\n

\u2018Dear Child, How Are You?\u2019<\/em> Explores and features the perspective of various education systems, providing audiences different insights to different education philosophies which will help to widen the perspectives of parents and educators alike to find a balance, and educate our next generation in a better way.<\/span><\/h5>\n

The 4 episodes will feature each education system for sharing purposes and will not praise nor criticize each of them as \u2018good\u2019 and \u2018bad\u2019 are objective and judgmental. We hope for our docu-series to initiate parents into contemplating and discussing; to plant a seedling into their hearts to think about the true needs of their children.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Journey of Sinje\u00a0<\/em><\/strong> is the first episode talks about Sinje Lee, the various aspects as a modern, working mother bringing the audiences a trip back to her hometown, Alor Setar of Malaysia, where she grew up, reminiscing her childhood where she had enormous freedom, growing up in a big nature environment, allowing her to live fearlessly and with a strong positive mind.<\/p>\n

Then, it extended to her daily life in the city, looking back at her journey from taking care of her stepdaughter in her 20s to being pregnant and giving birth to two twin sons at the age of 40. She even shared her joys and sorrows, as well as the people and things that worth to learn and inspire in her life.<\/p>\n

It also talks about how she keeps her children\u2019s innocence in life with a pure soul, especially in the urban city and despite her busy life, how she still meditates, draws and focus on her creations daily while taking care of her family in a positive way.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
